Yogurt and Berry Parfait Recipe

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
PREPARATION METHOD

Wash the mixed berries carefully and pat them dry with a paper towel. If using strawberries, hull them and slice them into smaller pieces to ensure even layers in your parfait.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt with either honey or maple syrup for sweetness. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor and mix everything until smooth and creamy.

Select four serving glasses or bowls, depending on the size of your servings. Start by placing a layer of the yogurt mixture at the bottom of each container for a creamy base.

Add a generous layer of mixed berries on top of the yogurt. Layer the berries evenly so each spoonful of parfait has a balanced mix of flavors from the fruit and yogurt.

Sprinkle a handful of granola over the berry layer. Granola adds a delicious crunch to the parfait. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a final layer of berries and granola.

Garnish the parfaits with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and added freshness. Serve the parfaits immediately to keep the granola crispy and enjoy a refreshing, healthy treat.
