Spaghetti with Shrimp

INGREDIENTS
  • 250g spaghetti
  • 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
PREPARATION METHOD

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until fragrant and onions are translucent.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Pour in the diced tomatoes and white wine (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the shrimp and sauce. Toss everything together until the spaghetti is well coated.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy your delicious spaghetti with shrimp!
