INGREDIENTS
- 1 pork tenderloin (about 1 pound)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
PREPARATION METHOD
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy crust during roasting in the oven.
Rub the pork all over with olive oil. Then sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme evenly on every side to flavor it well.
Place the pork tenderloin on a roasting pan or baking sheet. Insert into the oven and roast for about 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows juices to redistribute, making the meat juicy and tender before slicing to serve.
