INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 slices bacon
- Toothpicks
PREPARATION METHOD
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully blended.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Wrap each meatball with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick to hold everything in place during cooking.
Place the bacon-wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is crispy and meatballs are cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. These pork meatballs wrapped in bacon make a delicious appetizer or main dish, perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.
