- 3 eggs at room temperature
- 150 g granulated sugar
- 230 g flour
- 60 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 packet of yeast
- 1 glass of milk at room temperature
- 100 ml vegetable oil
- 120 g Nutella
The Nutella Cake is a soft cake rich in chocolate cream within the dough. An easy-to-make recipe that captivates both those who prepare it and those who taste it at first bite. Ideal for snacking, breakfast, and as a simple yet delicious birthday cake.
Firstly, to prepare the Nutella cake, beat the eggs and sugar with an electric whisk until you get a clear and fluffy mixture. Add sifted flour with baking powder, then cocoa, also sifted. Work everything with the whisk adding, finally, first the oil, then gradually adding the milk.
When the ingredients are perfectly mixed, pour half of the mixture into a 24 cm greased and floured hinged mold. Spread half of the Nutella on the surface and distribute it with a fork to obtain a marbled effect.
Cover with the remaining batter and distribute the remaining Nutella in the same way. Level by lightly tapping the cake mold on the work surface, then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. To check if it’s done, you can perform the toothpick test. Remove the Nutella cake from the oven and let it cool before removing it from the mold and serving it.
