Chicken roll with cheeses

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
PREPARATION METHOD

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Flatten chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet. This helps ensure the chicken cooks evenly.

In a bowl, mix mozzarella, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, pepper, and salt. Stir until the cheeses and spices are fully combined into a creamy filling.

Take each chicken breast, place a generous portion of cheese filling in the center, and carefully roll them up tightly. Secure with toothpicks if needed to hold the shape.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Carefully brown the chicken rolls on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. This locks in flavor.

Transfer the browned chicken rolls to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through.

Once done, remove the toothpicks and serve. You can garnish with fresh herbs or a drizzle of olive oil for an extra touch of flavor.
